Visit Contal Castle and Saint-Nazaire Temple at Carcassonne , the world's largest fortified city in Europe .
We will visit the place that became the stage of the Katari school (Albi school), one of the Christian schools, which spread throughout the southwestern France in the Middle Ages.
There is also a guide to the view spot where you can overlook the city.

After that, we will guide you to the sluice of the World Heritage Midi Canal , which you can only reach by car . (About 15 minutes
) We will visit the sluice called Écluse (a device that adjusts the water level difference to raise and lower the ship), which is indispensable for passing through canals with different water levels.
*Please note that depending on the time of year, there is no passage of ships and the sluices may not open or close.

We will have lunch at Castelnaudary, which is known as the birthplace of local cuisine in the southwestern part of France .
*Casule is a time-consuming dish, so if necessary, we will make a reservation in advance.

p.m.

Take a photo break at Lautrec, one of the "most beautiful villages in France" .
There are pastel shops in the village, and old windmills on a small hill. *During winter when the days are short, we do not visit Lautrec Village.

The bishop of the Albi, a World Heritage Site , will take you from the opposite bank of the River Tarn to an observatory overlooking the Old Town and the Pont Vieux Bridge built in the 11th century.
The fortress-like Cathedral of Sainte Cecil is a symbol of Catharist history. Take a stroll through the beautiful brick old town and the museum of the Albi painter Lautrec.
